What is the airport code for Vilanculos?

Vilanculos airport’s code is VNX (IATA), and FQVL for pilots (ICAO). Its official name is Vilankulo International Airport, and it’s run by the state operator Aeroportos de Moçambique, which describes it as the airport serving Vilankulo and the tourist region of Inhambane. It’s the gateway to the Bazaruto Archipelago.

Can you take me back to the airport for my departure too?
Yes. We collect you from your hotel in good time for check-in, at the same fixed fare and door to door, just in the other direction. Give us your flight time and we'll plan the pickup around it.
Can you connect me to the islands or a lodge?
Yes. We can drop you at the jetty for your boat out to the Bazaruto Archipelago, or book the whole crossing with our speedboat transfers to the islands. Or we carry on to a lodge or beach house outside town: tell us your final stop and we'll quote the whole journey.
Do you do other routes, like Vilanculos to Tofo?

Our standard transfer cars aren't 4x4s, so if your lodge sits at the end of a sand or rough access track, you must tell us when you book. We do have 4x4s and will happily arrange one, priced separately, but we don't run the lodges, so we can't know what each access road requires. Check with your accommodation, tell us on WhatsApp, and we'll send the right vehicle.
