Booking
Cancellation & refunds.
The short version: we don’t take deposits, so cancelling costs you nothing. If the sea or the weather forces us to cancel, we refund or reschedule. That’s it.
No deposit.
We don’t ask for money up front. You confirm your tour with us on WhatsApp or email, and you pay on the day — cash, transfer, mobile money, or card. If something changes and you can’t make it, just let us know.
If you cancel.
No fee. Because nothing has been paid, nothing needs to be refunded. The only thing we ask is a quick message as soon as you know — ideally the day before — so the crew and the boat can be released for someone else.
If you’ve already paid in advance (rare, but it happens for private bookings or large groups), the same logic applies: we refund in full minus any third-party costs we can’t recover (a park fee that’s already been paid, for example). We’ll always tell you exactly what those are before you commit.
If we cancel.
Sometimes the ocean has other plans. If we have to cancel for weather, sea conditions, or safety, we’ll offer you the next available date that works for you. If we can’t find another moment that fits your trip — or you’ve already paid — you get a full refund.
The crew makes the call on conditions, not the forecast app. Our skippers have been reading this water for years; if they say it’s a no-go, it’s a no-go. We’d rather move your tour than put you in a bad day at sea.
No-shows.
If you’ve already paid and you don’t turn up on the day — with no message, no rescheduling — the payment isn’t refunded. The boat sailed, the crew worked, the fuel was burned. If something genuinely went wrong (a delayed flight, an emergency), tell us as soon as you can and we’ll do what we can to help.
Changing your booking.
Want to push your tour back a day, add people, swap to a different itinerary? Message us. We’ll usually say yes. The earlier you let us know, the easier it is.
Anything else?
If something here doesn’t cover your situation, just message us. We’d rather talk it through than hide behind a clause.
